About Me

Civil Engineer & Developer

Hello! I'm Bikan Chowdhury, a 3rd-year Civil Engineering student at NIT Agartala with a growing interest in both structural design and software development.

I'm exploring how civil engineering and technology can complement each other, and I enjoy learning how to approach problems from different angles—whether it's through design principles or coding logic.

I've been building my skills in web development using the MERN stack, practicing Data Structures and Algorithms with C++, and learning tools like AutoCAD for creating engineering drawings. There's still a lot I'm trying to understand and improve on, but I'm excited about the learning journey and always looking for new challenges to grow.

My Skills

Web Development

I've been exploring the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) to build full-stack web applications and have some experience working with responsive design and REST APIs. I’ve also started learning Next.js to better understand server-side rendering and modern web development practices. There's still a lot to learn, but I'm really enjoying the process.

DSA in C++

I've been working on building a solid understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms, mainly using C++. Along the way, I’ve had the opportunity to tackle some challenging problems and try to improve my solutions in terms of efficiency and performance. I'm always looking to deepen my knowledge and improve further.

AutoCad

I've been learning to use AutoCAD for creating 2D and 3D designs, including architectural plans and technical drawings for civil engineering projects. I'm continuously working on improving my accuracy and understanding of design standards.
